Uila Records is where vinyl, live music, and community come together. By day, we’re a curated record shop offering vinyl and merchandise for anyone looking to discover something new or revisit the classics.

At night, the space transforms into an intimate music lounge featuring local artists every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday—with select Saturday shows. On live music nights, our bar is open, serving cocktails and canned drinks in a laid-back, immersive setting.

Whether you’re crate digging in the afternoon or catching a set at night, Uila Records is a place to unwind, connect, and experience music the way it’s meant to be heard.

Wednesdays and Fridays are dedicated to our amazing local talent across all genres and styles, with the occasional appearances from traveling artists and special guests.

Thursday nights are Uila’s very own Jazz Nights! We host some of the most talented musicians you’ll find on the Big Island. With these specially curated jazz groups and bands, you’ll never leave without being amazed.

Some other special recurring live events we host include Bring It! (every first Friday) and Uila Dead Night (every second Friday), featuring the Big Island’s own Grateful Dead cover band, “Althea Later.”
